At the end of the meeting, Vice Mayor Gao Yaguang made an important speech and instructions. Vice Mayor Gao Yaguang talked about the current situation of Wuxi's manufacturing industry under the current situation of the Sino-US trade war from the history of Wuxi's manufacturing development. Wuxi's manufacturing enterprises account for more than 50% of Wuxi's GDP, plus indirect realization driven by it. GDP is estimated to reach 60%~70%, which is the true pillar industry of Wuxi’s economy. Deputy Mayor Gao Yaguang also said that Wuxi's manufacturing industry not only has a complete range of categories in a single city across the country, but also enterprises in the industry; various financial institutions support Wuxi manufacturing enterprises in direct financing and indirect financing. Wuxi manufacturing enterprises have a relatively good loan scale, and the average loan interest rate is very low across the country. Deputy Mayor Gao Yaguang pointed out that the more in the special period, the more important the two parties will be to observe the principle of compliance. The important thing for cooperation between the two parties is credit. He hoped that various financial institutions in Wuxi and Wuxi manufacturing enterprises would make persistent efforts to face the current situation.
